According to Mike, the general idea behind a $6000+ infrared camera is to take pictures of a building’s insulation. If you can see the studs and there are hot or cold spots, you then proceed to tell the building owner how much energy they’re wasting and why they should invest in more insulation/newer appliances/better windows.
Meh. As I see it, infrared cameras should primarily be used to take picture of cats.
